Ready - Steady - Go

The Challenge is here, it was great to see so many new faces at the nutirtion lecture on Friday evening, there is a certain excitement at CF Jozi with the challenge starting. I really believe we will see some amazing results from everybody.

I have been so excited to climb into this one simply because the first challenge was such a learning curve for me.This time I have goals prioritized, I am learning more everyday with regards to mechanics and how important they are, with each WoD comes a possible new donkey or at least room for improvement,  I have the cooking essentials in the kitchen, but most of all I have my attitude in "GOFORIT" mode.

The first couple weeks are all in the mind, it's about getting over the reach for a snack, to lazy to cook tonight lets get some pizza, I had a long day at work, I will train harder tomorrow.


It's only 8 weeks of dedication, give everyday 110% cause you aint gonna get those days back. If you feel like you having a day that is hard to get through mail one of the other peeps for some support, always remember CrossFit Jozi is a Community.

Last night saw us into the challenge with our Baseline test here are my scores.

Clean and Jerk PR - 70KG's
Grace for Time 45KG's  - 3:35 mins


Pretty happy with these, I am still not happy with my technique and mechanics, especially with the clean and jerk...as Imti says..you have to be fast and you need to finish.
I have a lot of work to be done in those departments, I think for me that is the key to improvement.


It was great to see the motivation from every person last night though, Billy the Bday boy summed it up for me personally...straight after Grace he looked up and said..."Watch this Space" December I will smash it.
